Class Times & Student Supervision

Morning Arrival:

• Before 8:00 AM: Students should not arrive at school as supervision is not available. Toowong Outside School Hours Care provides care before this time if needed.
• 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Students arriving during this time should sit quietly under the library and wait for a supervising teacher to attend.
• 8:30 AM - 8:55 AM: Supervised playtime for all students before school begins.
• 8:55 AM: All students proceed to their classrooms to start the day. Classes begin promptly at 9:00 AM.

During the Day:

• 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM: First break for all students.
• 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Second break for all students.
• 3:00 PM: School concludes.

After School:

• 3:00 PM - 3:15 PM: Staff supervision is provided on school grounds.
• After 3:15 PM: Any students still on school grounds should wait in the office to be collected by a parent or carer.
• Office Closes at 3:30 PM: It's important that all students are collected by this time.

Additional Notes:

• Late Arrivals: Students who arrive after classes begin must report to the office to obtain a late slip before joining their class.
• Early Departures: Students needing to leave early must be signed out at the office by a parent or carer prior to departure.

By adhering to these times and guidelines, we ensure a safe and organised environment for all students throughout the school day.
