In 2011, we began the implementation of a number of strategies designed to reduce our School Environmental Footprint. The following schemes are currently in place:
- Solar and Energy Efficiency Program: this involves putting a photovoltaic array (solar panels) on our school and upgrading the quality of our most-used lights
Monitoring water use across the school
Responding to and repairing water leaks immediately
Recycling program
The planting of 400 new native plants on our lower campus thanks to a Queen's Jubilee Grant obtained by the P&C, and
- Environment Club for years 2-6 students who wish to learn about sustainability and caring for our environment.
